Magnetic angle sensor comes in a 20mm-profile 36mm-diameter servo flange housing.

ASM has expanded its innovative Posirot line of angular position sensors with the introduction of a new magnetic angle sensor in a 20mm-profile 36mm-diameter servo flange housing.

The PRAS2 is a dependable, contact-free and wear-free sensor that uses an external permanent magnet to measure complete angular position from 0 to 360 degrees with a typical resolution of 0.1 degrees.

PRAS2 models are available with three different analogue outputs: 4-20mA, 0.5-4.5V and 0.5-10V.

The angle measurement circuitry is shielded from external environment conditions.

It has also been designed to be highly shock- and vibration-resistant.

With its low 20mm height, this new compact model, PRAS2, can be quickly installed without requiring much space.

As this sensor is in a rugged IP68 stainless steel housing, it can reliably handle the toughest industrial environments and makes it suitable for many applications such steering and tilt angle measurement on mobile construction equipment.
