All members of the company live locally to Meriden in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
A growth in the market for 2D code-reading systems across major industries, coupled with independence and innovation, are seen as the main reasons for the company's success and growth.
Peter Greenrod, Director and company founder, explained: "Innovation is our principal focus.
When we look at the current market and how it stands, we see so much replication.
We want to apply new technology to different markets, and we look to create low-cost solutions".
Richard Laight, Director and company founder, adds: "We pride ourselves on our independent approach.
We always try to put ourselves in the customer's shoes to work out exactly the product, solution and services they seek.
We offer a range of products so that customers have a scalable choice for 2D code-reading".
