Code reading products at Mach 2006 (NEC, Birmingham, from 15th to 19th May 2006) include those designed specifically for the manufacturing market.

Absolute Vision will be showing its range of code reading products on stand 4508 in hall four at Mach 2006, being held at the NEC, Birmingham, from 15th to 19th May 2006 The products, including those designed specifically for the manufacturing market, will complement the marking technology being exhibited alongside Absolute Vision by its parent company Pryor Marking Technology

Visitors to the stand will be able to view a complete method of marking, reading and traceability for an extensive array of manufacturing, production and engineering scenarios.

Absolute Vision's product range includes IDCoder, a reader for 2D dot peen codes under demanding factory floor conditions, where the manufacturing process may have degraded the marking on the parts.

Datamouse Pro is a hand held reader for all marks ranging from high to low contrast, applied to surfaces from rough to highly polished, for example steel alloys and titanium.

As reading technology continues to evolve, Absolute Vision is looking at how the use of laser technology combined with its instrument reader, that has already established itself for medical instrument tracking, might bring benefits to similar applications in other manufacturing areas.
