Assemtech Europe has added the PTS/PSS models to its range of Hall effect proximity sensors.

Assemtech Europe has added the PTS/PSS models to its range of Hall effect proximity sensors.

With their compact size and ease of installation the range ideally suits applications in process control and other harsh environment areas where the sensing of moving parts is needed.

The sensors consist of two parts, the sensor and a magnet.

Both are constructed in a robust fully encapsulated housing either as a nickel-plated brass threaded body version or as an ABS body with fixing flanges.

Both types offer ease of installation and adjustment via LED indication.

The sensor consists of a PNP+NPN output which as a normally open contact sense.

Operation of the switch is activated when the magnet is positioned in close proximity up to 8mm.

The switching is bounce free due to the internal solid-state circuitry.

Both operate with a supply voltage of 10-20V DC with a maximum current output of 250mA into a load of 4.7kohm.

Temperature operation is over -3 to +70C with connection via a PVC insulated cable.
