Magtrix connectors comprise versatile miniature neodymium-iron-boron nickel plated magnets connected to a copper-tin-plated flexible lead for use as battery connectors.
Magtrix connectors from Assemtech Europe are versatile miniature neodymium-iron-boron nickel plated 6mm-diameter 5mm-long magnets connected to a 40 x 0.65mm diameter copper-tin plated flexible lead, with an operating temperature of 120C and a maximum power rating of 8A.
Primarily designed for use as battery connectors, they are also ideal for proximity sensor and reed switch triggering, connecting PCBs, test equipment connections and prototypes where connections need to be made quickly.
These connectors are ideal for use where space is at a premium or wherever magnetic muscle is required to replace traditional methods of connection, whether electrical or mechanical.
