Microstepping at full-step prices!
Astrosyn's new compact P780 Multi-function Bipolar Drive Module incorporates microstepping at the price levels normally associated with conventional full and half-stepping bipolar drives.
Where users have varying levels of skills, experience and equipment to employ in configuring their specific application, a complementary card, the P700CB, is also available which allows quick and easy connection to external components, eg motor, power supply, or PLC.
The P700CB has oscillator controls and switches fitted, and as a result, many of the external controls can be predetermined without additional wiring, for example, shaft rotation direction, full/half step operation and base/running speed.
For those users who do not intend to rack-mount their P700 unipolar drive, the new P700CB card provides a plug-in interface, which offers a very simple, yet versatile stepper drive system.
