Not much larger than the dial of a wristwatch, Astrosyn's compact E401 Disk Stepper Motor is a timely product for those applications where space is restricted.
Not much larger than the dial of a wristwatch, Astrosyn's compact E401 Disk Stepper Motor is a timely product for those applications where space is restricted Based on a bipolar-wound stator and hybrid rotor, the disk motor offers within the confines of its 10mm body length a true 1.8 degree stepping angle, normally only obtainable from Astrosyn's range of mini-angle motors
Featuring shielded ball bearings at both ends and a steel end bell, the motor weighs 80g.
It delivers over 200g/cm torque, while drawing 120mA, and runs at well over 1kHz input frequency.
Its non-cumulative step angle error (including hysteresis) is measured in hundreths of a degree and it has a high life expectancy.
