User conference seeks technical papers
Preparations are under way for the 2004 Ansys Users Conference and Exhibition to be held from 24th to 26th May 2004 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
This is the third consecutive year that the company has made the prestigious list.
This year, the Fortune Small Business list (called the FSB 100) was dominated by energy and defense companies, whose financial performance was measured over the past three years.
Ansys, the only computer-aided engineering firm that has made the list three years in a row, continues to show solid financial performance.
"Our long-term financial success, combined with honours such as being named to the Fortune Small Business list, are validation that Ansys is headed in the right strategic direction".
"We believe our success is a result of running our business as a business: finding the best people to do the job, closely listening to what our customers say, honouring the commitments we make and re-investing revenues into research and development", said Ansys President and CEO Jim Cashman.
To compile the FSB 100, Fortune Small Business asked financial research firm Zacks to rank public companies with revenues less than $200 million and a stock price of more than $1, based on their percentage growth in earnings, revenue and stock performance over the past three years.
Banks and real estate firms were excluded.
The list of 100 fastest-growing small companies, which comprises public companies, appears in the July/August issue of Fortune Small Business.
