Ansys to host 'engineering in energy' conference

Ansys will host the 2008 Engineering Simulation Energy Conference (ESEC, previously called the IOCC), 11-12 November, in Houston, Texas.

The event will focus on engineering challenges and innovation in the energy industry.

It will unite practitioners of engineering simulation from around the world for two days of presentations and discussions on the latest technology developments.

Highlights include: plenary topics related to technology developments, critical engineering issues, paths to innovation and the role of engineering simulation in oil and gas production and processing and renewable energy; technical tracks designed to present case studies and application examples; workshops and forum discussions that focus on energy related issues; technology demonstrations; opportunities to maximise networking and information exchange; and training courses.
