Autodesk has announced that Wendy Berry has been appointed as marketing manager for the UK and Ireland, with overall responsibility for industry specific and corporate marketing activities
Autodesk has announced that Wendy Berry has been appointed as marketing manager for the UK and Ireland.
In this role, Berry has overall responsibility for industry specific and corporate marketing activities.
She will be based in Guildford, UK.
Berry states: "I have joined Autodesk at an exciting and innovative stage in the company's development, following its recent introduction of the iDesign strategy which will take the Autodesk solutions from the desktop to the web.
This demonstration of the company's commitment to the Internet and e-business gives us the opportunity to help change perceptions and look at future technologies as well as moving into new market areas.
The focus for marketing will be on both our customers and our channel and how these new technology developments will affect all businesses in the future.
Berry joins Autodesk from Novell - a leading provider of Net services software - where she worked for six years, latterly as the UK marketing manager.
She was previously also the regional marketing manager for Northern Europe and Benelux during her time there.
Prior to Novell, Berry was marketing manager for WordPerfect.
