Autodesk's emphasis on the UK market is backed up by recent research, underlining the importance of the UK construction industry and the role of IT within it.

Working out of the new Autodesk office in Farnborough, Hampshire, Upton will be responsible for consulting, training and pre-sales activities in the UK to support the Buzzsaw service.
Before joining Autodesk, Upton spent eight years managing his own IT project management and consultancy business, Brampton (IT).
In this role, he focused on project managing the implementation of the latest GIS and CAD systems including Autodesk Vision and AutoCAD.
The majority of his commissions were for BAA, both at its corporate headquarters and at Heathrow, Gatwick and Glasgow airports.
Prior to this, Upton worked for Graphic Data Systems in a broad range of consultancy and technical consultancy roles.
In his new position, Upton reports to Jason Medal-Katz, manager of professional services for Autodesk Building Collaboration Services.
Harpham's main responsibility in his new role will be building Buzzsaw collaboration sales for the UK region.
He was previously a sales manager for Infrasoft Solutions, where he was responsible for reviewing, specifying and developing core strategies for the development and marketing of Arenium, a model-centric data management tool for the civil construction sector.
Before this, Harpham was technical sales manager EMEA, where he had direct sales responsibilty for the Northern UK and Scotland region.
In his new post, Harpham reports to Tom Cameron, director of worldwide sales for Autodesk Building Collaboration Services. Request free introductory details about products from Autodesk ...
