Architectural Suite is a new promotional software package from Autodesk that enables customers to obtain the latest in building design technology at highly competitive prices.

Architectural Suite is a new promotional software package from Autodesk that enables customers to obtain the latest in building design technology at highly competitive prices.

Architectural Suite comprises the industry-leading tools, Autodesk Architectural Studio 2 (newly launched in Europe) and Autodesk Architectural Desktop (ADT) 3.3., together with subscription contracts to both products.

The stand-alone version of Architectural Suite is currently available from Autodesk for GBP 3950 until 15th January 2003, a significant saving on the recommended retail price of GBP 4650.

The subscription element of the new package will allow customers to receive the latest versions of the Autodesk software solutions as they become available, implement them at their convenience, reduce time spent on administration and more effectively plan their budget for upgrades.

"Architectural Suite enables customers to purchase two innovative and complementary building design software tools at a substantial saving, and, at the same time, benefit from the convenience and flexibility of our subscription programme", says Autodesk.

Architectural Studio 2 is a conceptual design tool for architects and other building industry professionals.

Its availability across Europe in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish will enable designers across the continent to capitalise on the solution's ability to create early, loose sketches and rough conceptual models in digital form.

This capability ensures a continuous digital workflow, enhancing communication between design and production teams while saving time in design development.

ADT 3.3 offers architects the flexibility to work in 3D or 2D as a design evolves and enables them to benefit from the efficiencies of the model-based design approach while accommodating traditional work processes.

The latest release improves design co-ordination with mechanical and electrical engineers through seamless integration with the new building systems products, Autodesk Building Mechanical and Autodesk Building Electrical.

Project collaboration is also enhanced through expanded Internet features.
