Through a variety of "tips and tricks" sessions and presentations, delegates will discover how to optimise the features and functions of Inventor, and will also get the chance to preview the next release of the product as well as actively inputting ideas towards its future development.
Users will also learn more about other developments in manufacturing technologies from Autodesk such as Autodesk Inventor Professional, Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Streamline.
Richard Jones, VP for Product Engineering for Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions Division, comments: "We expect that many Inventor users will take advantage of this excellent opportunity to enhance their practical knowledge of the product while giving and receiving valuable feedback from Autodesk representatives and other users.
Participants can also contribute wish list items and ideas directly to the product development team".
"By bringing together UK and Ireland users of Inventor, the conference will further enhance the confidence within the large user community and encourage the establishment of a vibrant Inventor user group across the whole region", he continues.
Conference delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of "tips and tricks" sessions, specifically designed to enhance their day-to-day productivity when working with Inventor.
Subjects include: how best to design, manage and share 2D and 3D design drawings, models and metadata; Inventor part and assembly modelling techniques; setting up hardware, graphics cards, operating systems and applications; and making the best use of Inventor through training, technical support, consulting and bespoke development.
Autodesk will also be announcing the winners of the UK and Ireland section of its Inventor Customer Design contest.
Autodesk will be inviting all users of Inventor across the UK and Ireland to the conference over the coming weeks.
