Autodesk channel partners can now provide a complete design process review from the point where a product inquiry comes into the business though to manufacture and beyond.
Autodesk is offering a valuable new service to manufacturers through its reseller network.
Recognising that the success of implementing software relies as much on business processes as it does on the product, Autodesk channel partners can now provide a complete design process review from the point where a product inquiry comes into the business though to manufacture and beyond.
"Many customers, particularly those migrating from using AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor Series or Autodesk Inventor Professional and so moving to 3D digital design, tell us that they begin to work differently, saving up to half of their design time", says Kevin Ison, Business Manager, Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions Division.
"However these benefits can be extended even further by carefully assessing processes and looking at the re-use of data throughout the whole operation, by automating data management processes and flows".
"We are also aware that, these days, our customers need to justify any investment in new technology by demonstrating a fast payback and then its impact on revenue generation".
