Atlas SpinTite Type AES blind threaded studs from provide strong external threads for attaching components where only one side of a workpiece is accessible.

Atlas SpinTite Type AES blind threaded studs from provide strong external threads for attaching components where only one side of a workpiece is accessible.

They can serve as a practical alternative to tapped holes, weld nuts, rivets, and self-drilling or tapping screws.

The studs also can be used as locating elements when joining two components.

Installed from the accessible "front" side of a workpiece, SpinTite blind threaded studs are ideal for metal components as thin as 0.51mm.

They eliminate any need for additional hardware beyond a mating nut to complete final component assembly and can be installed permanently anywhere in the shop or field (even after end-product finish is applied) using a handheld portable tool.

SpinTite Type AES blind studs are offered in thread sizes 6-32 through 3/8-16 and M4 through M10 and in lengths from 0.500 to 1.088in and 12 to 25.9mm.

In addition to the standard product line, these studs can be designed with MAThread self-aligning threads, which can protect against cross-threading or jamming and can correct off-angle installations.
