These fasteners are ideal for use in "blind" attachment applications, where only one side of a workpiece is accessible for fastener installation and final component assembly.

Atlas aluminium, brass, steel or stainless steel blind threaded inserts can satisfy countless attachment applications ranging from aircraft seat trays and automobile mirrors to electronics cabinetry hardware and appliance hinges, as well as closed-structure materials with minimum backside clearance, such as hydroformed tubing.

"Bulletin PG" provides an overview of fastener types and their features and benefits, as well as installation procedure.

Contact information is included for authorised distributors and representatives.

Installed from the accessible "front" side of a component, Atlas blind threaded inserts in a wide range of thread sizes can provide strong permanent metal threads in metal or plastic sheets as thin as 0.25mm.

Final component assembly is completed simply using mating hardware.
