Adaptaflex will showcase the Adaptalok ATS conduit system at Railtex, along with a range of Adaptaflex systems for locomotive, carriage, trackside and infrastructure applications.
The Adaptalok ATS is already being specified on international rail projects.
A simple push-twist-pull installation process achieves high ingress protection ratings.
It is quick and economical to install, ensuring system performance and integrity are maintained.
Available fitting options include straight and elbows with nylon or swivel metal-threads and couplers.
Adaptaflex produces products approved by recognised industry standards from LUL and BSI, in addition to SNCF, Deutsche Bahn, Siemens, Alstom and Bombardier.
These are specified and used on some of Europe's leading rail applications.
The Adaptaflex range is designed for the protection of critical electric, signal and telecommunications cabling systems.
Adaptaflex makes the BS6853 Class 1A non-metallic flexible conduit Polyketone system, Type PK, which combines low fire hazard with high UV resistance, flexibility and fatigue life, making it suitable for static and flexing applications.
For safety critical and harsh environments, stainless steel or tinned copper overbraid options are available.
Adaptaflex will also show the Type PR enhanced low fire hazard overbraided systems, which are approved for use by major rail companies worldwide.
Type CP is suitable for use inside or beneath trains and carriages, as well as on public transport, light rail and tramway systems.
Type CP utilises a special co-polymer material that offers high flexibility, with a wide operating temperature range, low fire hazard (LFH) capability and extremely low toxicity.
It facilitates the use of the Adaptalok ATS one-piece push and twist fittings, which make installation fast and effective, with the highest ingress protection as standard.
