The UKAS-accredited Repair and Overhaul of Explosive Atmosphere Equipment training courses meet the BS IEC 60079-19:2007 standard, which comes into effect fully in May 2010.

Anstee Ware has invested in workforce training and certification schemes covering the repair and overhaul of Ex-rated motors The UKAS-accredited Repair and Overhaul of Explosive Atmosphere Equipment training courses are run by the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), with third-party assessment by the Sira Certification Service (SCS) to provide a credible demonstration of the knowledge, skills, experience and attitude of persons involved in all aspects of the repair of Ex equipment to international standards

The courses meet the BS IEC 60079-19:2007 standard, which comes into effect fully in May 2010.

It burdens end-users with the responsibility ascertain the credentials of the repair facility to demonstrate compliance with the standard.

The courses attended by Anstee Ware staff range from a one-day Awareness for Managers and Responsible Persons programme to a five-day Operatives and Responsible Persons - Repair and Overhaul of Ex Atmosphere Equipment programme that includes three days of practical training and an additional two days of assessment.

Applicants' must first demonstrate experience with a pre-qualification declaration and on successful completion of the course must continue to maintain an approved record of work activities and experience for submission and review as part of the re-certification process after three years.

Anstee Ware offers a complete service for repair and refurbishment on all types of AC and DC motors, generators and alternators with facilities to handle up to 40 tons and with 13.8kV running tests.
