To support its current rapid growth, Automation Products, the Industrial Automation specialist, has appointed John Haggart as its new Area Manager for Ireland.
To support its current rapid growth, Automation Products, the Industrial Automation specialist, has appointed John Haggart as its new Area Manager for Ireland.
John, who has returned to the process control market after a stint as a commercial pilot, has a wealth of experience in this sector having previously worked for General Control and Automation for four years.
Automation Products supplies Ci Technology's Citect, a Windows based, industrial automation software system that enables users to reduce costs by optimizing plant operations.
Citect is currently used in a wide variety of applications ranging from HMI solutions for OEMs to the world's largest PC-Based SCADA system.
The complete product range offers a one-stop shop that covers everything between PLC and ERP systems and includes OSI's Plant Information System and Softing's PC based control and INDX plant portal.
Based in Cork, Mr.Haggart said "After an introduction to Paul Hurst, the Managing Director of Automation products, I became increasingly involved in and attracted to the company.
I think that, given the current environment, there is a huge space in the Irish market for the Citect Scada product.
