Automation Products has released the latest version of its flagship SCADA software, Citect version 5.30 Among the new features included in this version are full ActiveX object support, powerful alarm filtering and Remote I/O enhancements

With the support of ActiveX objects in the graphics builder, users can simply insert an ActiveX object in any graphic, configure any of its parameters and even associate it with a Citect tag.

In addition, Citect version 5.30 includes an ActiveX meter that can be used to display speeds, temperatures and pressures in a number of formats.

In any plant the alarm system is one of the most critical pieces of equipment, because operators need quick and easy access to the alarms.

Citect version 5.30 allows operators to respond to alarms faster because of the inclusion of alarm filtering.

Users can now define queries that will filter alarms by date and time, tag name, area, category and whether it has been acknowledged or not.

The dial-out, dial-in feature has been enhanced so that users can dedicate modems, define the purpose of each modem (dial in, dial out or both) and even change the data frame settings.

The software also includes remote I/O monitoring.

The node editing capacity is made easy by the Citect Graphics Builder, which allows users to move, add or delete nodes on 3D pipes, lines or polylines. Request a free brochure from Citect ...
