Citect's entry level Plant2Business solution provides users of CitectScada and other systems with the means to connect disparate systems and achieve better decision making.
Citect's entry level Plant2Business solution at just GBP 995, - including a free historian - is designed to provide users of CitectScada and other well-known Scada and PLC systems with the means to connect disparate systems and achieve better decision making through improved data acquisition and reporting.
Seamless connectivity and advanced cross platform integration features enable Citect's entry level Plant2Business solution to connect directly to leading Scada packages including, CitectScada, Mitsubishi MX4, MX32 and MX2000, Intellution FIX32 and iFIX, Wonderware - Intouch.
The same broad connectivity also extends to major PLC systems - with over 100 protocols available, HMI and database systems.
As a result, plant managers and even IT personnel are able to access operational data directly and immediately to assist in timely decision making.
The integrity and continuity of data acquired with the Plant2Business system is virtually guaranteed, even when computers or networks fail, thanks to a free integrated historian function.
This allows data to be stored locally, within the historian itself, or transferred simply to an MS-SQL database using the connector provided.
Interfacing seamlessly to the Plant2Business Historian or business database is Citect's Plant2Net web server, with its five (concurrent) browser client application licences.
Plant2Net allows data to be viewed and analysed using the Excel and Crystal report templates within the browser clients.
Access to the data is controlled by a security system, which defines user privilege and password protection.
