Citect and MESware have formed a strategic business partnership that will see them collaborate in the development of analysis and control modules to be included in future releases of Ampla.
Citect and MESware, a Belgium-based MES solution provider, have formed a strategic business partnership that will see them collaborate in the development of analysis and control modules to be included in future releases of Ampla.
Additionally, MESware and Citect intend to join forces in the promotion, integration and support of MES solutions throughout the European food and beverage market.
"As part of our strategy to provide fully fledged MES solutions geared to the needs of our customers' business requirements, we are extremely pleased to be partnering with Citect".
"Ampla allows us to provide our customers base with an all-in-one, value-added MES platform offering an architecture that is ready to face future business opportunities and support long-term growth", said Lieven Decorte, President, MESware.
Citect and MESware will be targeting large companies in the food and beverage industry, to analyse their MES business needs and advise on the MES integration workflow.
"We aim to increase market share by offering combined MES know-how and insights to potential customers in order to help them increase business efficiency and improve product quality".
"By collecting data from distributed sources across the enterprise and converting this data into easy-to-understand, real-time intelligence for prioritised decision-making, production planning and execution can be synchronised", added Decorte.
"As a solution provider, we will benefit greatly from the profound, field experience of MESware's team of integration experts, and strongly believe that this partnership will open up new business opportunities for both our companies", concludes Alexandra Armitage, Ampla Manager, Citect, Europe.
The alliance also includes the collaboration between development teams of both companies to exchange technological know-how in order to extend Ampla functionalities.
MESware plans the development of innovative MES modules including centralised labelling and label printer control and warehousing.
The products will be licensed under an OEM relationship and will be distributed globally through Citect's extensive worldwide marketing and sales channels.
