Certification promises NetWeaver interoperability

Citect's Ampla product has received SAP NetWeaver certification.
Citect's Ampla product is now "Powered by NetWeaver Certified".
Ampla delivers real-time access to plant and business information, allowing organisations to accelerate their continuous improvement programs.
"In achieving SAP NetWeaver certification with Ampla, we continue our strategy of helping manufacturers achieve operational excellence with the lowest total cost of ownership", said Richard Webb, CEO Citect Corporation.
"Ampla has been certified for SAP NetWeaver with two scenarios", says Colette Munro, Citect's Global Director, Ampla.
"Production Management based on ISA-95 enables manufacturers to dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of plant to business interoperability, while the Enterprise Portal scenario enables key production information from Ampla to be displayed inside the SAP Enterprise Portal".

"Citect and SAP's joint customers will now benefit from the power of two committed partners working together to develop customer-centric solutions based on a open, flexible platform".
Both Citect and SAP support the industry standard for interoperability, ISA-95, and are global leaders in the implementation of B2MML for plant to business interoperability.
B2MML is an XML-based implementation of the ISA-95 standard developed by the World Batch Forum.
Integration using B2MML is simple to configure, easy to roll-out to multiple sites and easy to maintain.
