These telescopic slides, manufactured by Accuride International, have been chosen by principal design engineers to maximise space, access and comfort where it is most needed.
As car travel has increased, motorists have become more demanding for car interiors with storage, comfort, ergonomics and quality.
Over the last 10 years, Accuride has applied expertise gained in other markets to help car manufacturers and its system suppliers meet these demands.
Accuride's telescopic slides are used for its superior movement in sliding arm rests, under-seat storage, adjustable cushion seating and boot storage systems and continue to be used in increasingly innovative ways.
Accuride continues to work closely with car manufacturers, interior suppliers, as well as with design and engineering specialists to develop unique features for car interiors that meet with the stringent quality requirements of both the manufacturers and drivers.
Accuride prides itself on the quality of its products and is the only specialist slide manufacturer to achieve ISO14001 environmental standards in its UK plant.
Christian Drenth, Automotive Business Manager explains: "In an industry where supply-chain management is becoming an increasingly important business aspect, we place a lot of emphasis on the quality of our products.
Not only have we already achieved ISO14001 and ISO9000, we are also working towards achieving the automotive industry's ISO TS16949".
Gaining such accreditation is an important element of Accuride's unique 'partnership approach' where its early involvement in a project positively influences its clients' design engineering.
