Software aids CAD data integration

Fusion-DX Version 2.4 has already been implemented at many of Datranet's major OEM, T1 and T2 supplier customer sites in a variety of industry sectors, including aerospace, automotive, consumer products and defence.

One single Fusion-DX 2.4 system can be deployed to support the CAD data translation and communication needs of one or many sites of the same company.
If a company has sites on a WAN then users at these sites can access Fusion-DX using a web browser.
This is beneficial if a company wishes to centralise its CAD data translation and communication resources and to keep one single database and audit trail about partner communications for all sites.
The new translate function allows Fusion-DX users to do internal CAD data translations either by using the translators that are available with a specific Fusion-DX CAD system integration module or a Fusion-DX 3rd Party Translator Integration Module.
New Fusion-DX 2.4 modules are available for Elysium CAD.command translator users.
(Datranet is also a reseller for Elysium).
Fusion-DX can now be integrated with Catia v5 to automate its in-built translators, eg for Iges, DXF, Step and PDF.
Fusion-DX can now also be integrated with Teamcentre Engineering.
Fusion-DX 2.4 can be used to read and write CDs and DVDs.
This allows users to automatically create CDs and DVDs when sending large amounts of data to partners and also to read data from CDs and DVDs when received from partners.
