Trubiquity now has the ability to provide EDI-based business process automation solutions to customers worldwide, regardless of industry.

Trubiquity (formerly Autoweb) has acquired the assets and business operations of Mosaic Software.

Based in Meckenheim, Germany, Mosaic Software is a provider of commercial electronic data interchange (EDI) software products for customers in the retail, manufacturing and finance markets.

Offering an EDI-trade portal (web and classic EDI) for customers and installed EDI software and consulting services for business-process optimisation (EDI, SCM and ECR), Mosaic Software product offerings allow organisations to connect and collaborate across a variety of industries and business functions.

"With Mosaic's proven solutions and customer base, Trubiquity now has the ability to provide EDI-based business process automation solutions to customers worldwide, regardless of industry", said Nino DiCosmo, President and CEO of Trubiquity.

Trubiquity's current EDI capabilities were a direct result of its acquisition of European-based Secorex and its acquisition of US-based Trinary Systems.

The ongoing operations of Mosaic Software will continue uninterrupted under the name Trubiquity Systems.

"We look forward to teaming with Trubiquity and combining the EDI capabilities of both organisations", said Rolf Mugrauer, CEO of Mosaic Software.

"This partnership will support our customers' best-in-class EDI solutions to use worldwide".

"Within the Trubiquity software portfolio, Mosaic Software customers will have access to our new SaaS-based process automation solutions".

"Through Mosaic, we will offer new EDI capabilities for existing Trubiquity customers in Europe and throughout the world", said Stephen Koons, Trubiquity Senior Vice President, Business Development.
