A PC/104 expansion slot and on-board provision for a fast docking single 2.5" HDD give a high degree of versatility.
This is further enhanced by a single type-II CompactFlash slot.
The input power requirements of the TPC-1560 are 24VDC at a maximum rating of 2A.
The TPC-1560 weighs 3.8kg and has overall dimensions of just 383 x 307 x 55mm.
A strong IP65 rated, lightweight Magnesium alloy front bezel is combined with a tough moulded plastic rear housing to give a unit that can be used in harsh industrial environments.
The computer can operate at temperatures ranging from 0C to +50C and relative humidities up to 95%.
The TPC-1560 is BSMI certified for electro magnetic interference, and also meets class A requirements for CE, FCC compliance.
With a viewing angle of 140 degrees and luminance of 350 cd/m2, the TFT LCD display can be viewed clearly in most environments.
Additionally, up to 16 million colours and an on-screen resolution of 1024 x 768 give the user quick and easy recognition of displayed information.
The eight-wire analogue resistive touch panel that is overlaid on the TFT display provides continuous resolution and a minimum light transmission of 75%.
It has a specified lifetime of 100 million operations.
