Advantech has extended its popular FPM product line of industrial grade monitors with an economical 15in panel monitor for those with a tight budget and tight space The FPM-2150G compares to a commercial grade monitor in price, but has industrial grade functions for installation in rugged environments

The FPM-2150G can be hosed down.

Its specifications include a NEMA4/IP65 certification, which means that spilled liquids present no problem.

Heat, vibration and electromagnetic interference also have no effect on the electronics inside.

The stainless-steel chassis and AlMg front-panel provides all the protection required.

The 15in XGA colour TFT LCD screen is designed for industrial applications.

However, a standard VGA connector makes it compatible with commercial workstations as well as a wide range of industrial computers.

There is also a PS/2 connector that makes it possible to connect a mouse or keyboard.

If a user-friendlier user interface is preferred, opt for the eight-wire resistive touch screen.

The anti-glare and high-brightness LCD screen is easy on the eye for operators, and the on-screen-display function makes it convenient to adjust the display factors and turn the backlight on/off.

No keyboard or external interface device is necessary.

Compared with other industrial LCD monitors, FPM-2150G appeals to system integrators by its focus on reducing overall size, thickness and weight.

At 4.5kg and only 48mm depth, the monitor has an attractive and functional design that also eases integration and installation.

The FPM-2150G is one of the smallest and slimmest industrial grade monitors in the market today, and it mounts easily on a panel, wall, rack, desktop or VESA arm.

With the features described above, FPM-2150G is suitable for system control interfaces, but wherever a long-lasting, reliable interface is needed, this monitor will be welcomed.

FPM-2150G is already being mass-produced, and is available for ordering now. Request a free brochure from Advantech (UK) ...
