Designed to meet the increasing demands of system integrators needing more flexible and cost-competitive integration options, the powerful Intel Pentium III CPU and Via Twister chipset bring the most demanding applications to life without sacrificing industrial proven reliability critical to the open-frame PC application market.
The system configuration accommodates various open frame LCD monitors for true open-frame PC integration flexibility, perfect for system integrators' integration requirements.
It can be applied to a range of factory automation systems as well as information and interactive kiosks.
Open-frame PCs are designed to fit anywhere developers address space or environment computing constraints.
The ES-200-77 is an embedded system with flexible and interchangeable options/configurations that are key to meeting niche application needs.
Most importantly, the embedded system provides customers a cost-effective solution that provides high performance functionality as well.
The ES-200-77 was designed with connectivity in mind.
The ES-200-77 features two USB 1.1 ports, four serial ports, four audio ports (mic-in, line-in, line-out and speaker-out), one parallel port, two PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse, one VGA port and a RJ-45 LAN port with 10/100Base-T Ethernet controller.
This wide array of I/O options is available from this extremely compact box PC.
Expansion capacity includes one PCI card slot and one PC/104 card slot, making the ES-200-77 not only a functional system box, but also a powerful stand-alone computing centre around which to build an application.
The ES-200-77 also provides a DC 12V/4A output to supply an LCD monitor.
The ES-200-77 comes standard with CD-ROM or optional DVD-ROM, CD-RW or combo drive.
It supports two 3.5in HDDs to easily handle storage demands for large data, image or video files.
Compatibility with all these storage solutions ensures a scalable and flexible solution that meets changing project needs and meets the increasing demand for storage in multimedia applications.
Also, since it is certified for EMI and safety regulations, the ES-200-77 frees system integrators so they can focus on their application, not safety testing details.
