An Advantech (UK) product story

The FPM-3060G is a high-luminance compact-design 6in flat panel monitor that is easily integrated with UNO-2000 and MBPC-200 products for an all-in-one industrial panel PC solution.

New from Advantech, the FPM-3060G is a high-luminance compact-design 6in flat panel monitor that is easily integrated with UNO-2000 and MBPC-200 products for an all-in-one industrial panel PC solution.

These unique functions and its rugged enclosure make FPM-3060G very suitable for the machinery market.

The competitive price is also a strong side of this product.

"FPM-3060G should receive a warm welcome by machinery makers", said Johnson Wang, Product Manager at Advantech.

"The compact design makes it easy to install, the 400cd/m2 high brightness of the screen makes it friendlier for operators, and integrated together with industrial PCs like MBPC-200 or the UNO-2000 series, you have a robust all-in-one-box solution for the user interface and machine controller".

"With a standard VGA port, a normal industrial PC is of course also possible".

Creating a robust product has clearly been an important factor in the design of the FPM-3060G.

The FPM-3060G offers a high operating temperature at 60C, whereas commercial monitors usually cannot tolerate more than 40C.

The chassis is in stainless steel with an aluminium front bezel, and an anti-reflective tempered glass.

Like all FPM models, the FPM-3060G has a NEMA 4 and IP65 rating for its front panel, which makes installations in wet environments possible.

This is especially useful in food and beverage machinery applications with demanding cleaning requirements.

The FPM-3060G can be ordered with support for RS232, or the increasingly popular USB interface for the touch screen.

Mounting options include panel, wall or VESA arm, so a wide range of applications is possible.

The FPM-3060G is already available for ordering, and with its extremely aggressive pricing, Advantech aims to make a big impact in the machinery interface market.
