Advantech releases Intel Pentium III Socket 370 based PPC-158T with stainless steel enclosure.

Advantech has released the Intel Pentium III Socket 370 based PPC-158T with stainless steel enclosure.

The stainless steel housing and metal rear cover make the PPC-158T suitable for environments that require cleaning to a high standard, such as chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, petrochemical plants and kitchens in restaurants.

Features include speakers and OSD functions that can be optionally removed.

Resistive and capacitive touchscreens are also available.

It comes with a stainless steel front bezel as standard.

Mounting methods such as panel, wall, swing arm and desktop stand accessories are available as optional accessories.

Customer logos and colouring can be applied.

The customisation services also cover configuration and accessory changes; all bundled devices are removable.

OEMs and ODMs can request minor changes such as different peripheral device configurations for fresh projects.

The firm will work with third parties to customise mechanical designs or software.

The PPC-158T can be put into a different chassis or enclosure to provide whole panel PC waterproofing.
