Alpha Vision Design has been chosen by PTI to distribute its range of seal inspection technologies to UK and Ireland.
Alpha Vision Design, a leading manufacturer of innovative quality assurance and inspection systems for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries has been chosen by PTI to distribute its range of seal inspection technologies to UK and Ireland.
PTI has pioneered a brand new technique to perform nondestructive seal integrity inspection on both food and medical device pouches made from any material such as foil, film, paper, Tyvek, printed, colour or transparent.
SealScan identifies the presence, type and location of seal defects, verifying the package integrity and analysing the overall seal quality.

For the first time, opto-acoustic imaging can be applied to inline analysis of seals on flexible packaging.
These systems are replacing unreliable human inspection and ensure that all sealed packaging are 100% inspected, guaranteeing distribution of high quality sealed products while reducing the unit cost of production due to reduced scrappage and labour costs.
As an offline tool, SealScan is unmatched within the industry as the opto-acoustic images can be used to reliably calibrate and optimise seal inspection machines.
