UKAS accredited calibration and dimensional measurement laboratory Avon Calibration Services has enlarged its Bristol based calibration laboratory by 50%.
UKAS accredited calibration and dimensional measurement laboratory Avon Calibration Services has enlarged its Bristol based calibration laboratory by 50%.
This investment is brought by the company's recent new owners and has enabled the company to accommodate new laboratory equipment and space for the employment of additional calibration engineers.
Quality Director, Mike Gregory explains: "Avon Calibration Services consistent high quality calibration service, was the main attraction when purchasing the company and that continued excellence and ongoing investment are all priorities for the companies' new owners".
Gregory continues: "We believe our priority is to focus closely on our customers' needs and as such the investment in new laboratory equipment and engineers will support us to improve on our current 5-day calibration turnaround service".
The company is at present defining its new calibration services, which have been inspired by customers requesting quicker calibration turnarounds.
Gregory confirmed: "This is an ongoing theme, and will be mirrored in a series of new services introduced over the next few months, offering customers an expedited, faster calibration service".
