Handheld testers star in catalogue
No fewer than 50 instruments, ranging from insulation and continuity testers to LCR test sets, are featured in the new handheld product catalogue from Megger.
Fibre-optic testing now easier to perform
Fast, comprehensive testing of fibre-optic installations is now easier to perform with the latest range of low-cost Megger fibre-optic light sources and power meters
Called the Megger PPK210, this kit is competitively priced and more importantly, is supplied with a free calibration certificate, which is an additional cost with many instruments.
The testers also comply fully with the 16th edition of BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations, as well as the stringent IEC61010-1 instrument safety requirements.
The MIT310 insulation tester has 250, 500 and 1000V insulation test options, and is, therefore, particularly suitable to domestic testing, as many kitchens and bathrooms are fitted with SELV lighting, which must be tested at 250V.
The LRCD210 combined both a nontripping loop test and the necessary RCD testing on 230V supplies and offers all the functionality required for the domestic market.
Contractors can change between loop and RCD tests at the simple flick of a switch.
As an even lower cost option, Megger offers the Part P kit with its BM227 handheld insulation resistance and continuity tester, offering only the 250 and 500V insulation tests, along with the LRCD.
Instruments in Megger's new Part P kits feature comprehensive safety functions to protect users from the consequences of accidental misuse or accidentally connected to 415V three-phase installations. Request a free brochure from Megger ...
