AV Technology is expanding its condition monitoring operation in central Scotland with the opening of an office in Grangemouth.
AV Technology (AVT) is expanding its condition monitoring operation in central Scotland with the opening of an office in Grangemouth.
An increase in demand for AVT's services in Scotland has prompted the move to open the office and allow engineers easy access to customers in Grangemouth and the wider Scotland area.
Established in 1976, AVT specialises in the fields of maintenance consultancy, plant condition monitoring, noise and vibration prediction, measurement, assessment and control, structural and process monitoring and internal/remote visual inspection.
With offices also in Stockport and Aberdeen, AV Technology has an impressive blue chip client base including Innovene, BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Diageo, Unilever and William Grant Distillers.
Andy Brown, Grangemouth Senior Consulting Engineer, said business from the oil and gas sector in Scotland drove AVT to open the additional office.
"We are currently recruiting engineers and consultants to ensure we can satisfy the increasing demand for our services in the area".
