New from A and D Weighing is the AD-4406, a portable, ultra-low-cost indicator.

The indicator's multiple power capabilities and flexible print format make it the perfect indicator for platform scales, truck scales or any application requiring portability.

The AD-4406 can be operated using six "C" batteries for up to 180h continuously.

An optional rechargeable battery pack or AC adapter is also available giving the unit ultimate operational versatility.

The AD-4406 can perform simple batch weighing, and a five-point comparator function can output to the standard buzzer or optional relays.

The compact indicator allows operation in harsh environments with trouble-free panel or desktop swivel mounting.

Operators will appreciate the large, easy-to-read LCD display with one-inch tall characters.

The uncomplicated keypad has zero, tare, gross/net, on/off and two user programmable function keys.

The unit has internal and display resolutions of 40,000 counts and an A/D conversion rate of 10Hz.

It also includes a digital linearisation function and can drive up to four 350ohm load cells.

Analogue output and RS422/485 are also available.

Priced at $325, the AD-4406 continues the A and D tradition.
