Slotted brushless DC motors incorporate internal Hall sensor feedback for linear speed-torque characteristics, high starting torque and variable speed control.

Available from Ametek Technical and Industrial Products, Pittman brand Elcom ST Series N2300 slotted brushless DC motors incorporate internal Hall sensor feedback for linear speed-torque characteristics, high starting torque and variable speed control (with appropriate control electronics) Their six-slot lamination design contributes to high power, fast acceleration, consistent operation, and long service life

These motors are ideal for applications in a wide range of industries, including data storage, medical/biotech, semiconductor processing, automation, and others requiring high performance and reliability.

Pittman Series N2300 slotted brushless DC motors (2.3in diameter) are available in four standard stack lengths (0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 in) and integrate high-energy neodymium iron boron magnets for optimised performance.

Speeds up to 8000rev/min and continuous torque up to 280mNm can be achieved.

The motor's mounting configuration is consistent with NEMA 23 standards.

Modular motor design facilitates motor customisation with On-Motor controllers and components including modified shafts, multiple windings, electromechanical brakes, and optical encoders to satisfy unique application demands.
