PITTMAN series 6000 DC servomotors offer a practical alternative to ironless core or coreless motor products in a cost-effective package.

Pittman series 6000 22mm-diameter brush-commutated DC servomotors incorporate a skewed five-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets to deliver more power than most other DC motors of similar size They offer a practical alternative to ironless core or coreless motor products in a cost-effective package

The newest and longest version can provide up to 40% more continuous torque 14.1231mNm compared with shorter 22mm-diameter electric motor products.

Other motors in this series are available in shorter lengths with the capability to achieve continuous torque up to 5.64924 and 9.180015mNm, respectively.

Depending on model, these motors can generate maximum peak torques up to 72.02781 and nominal no-load speeds up to 8720 rev/min.

Key features include sintered bronze bearings, two-pole stators, a heavy-gauge steel housing, silicon steel laminations and copper graphite brushes.

Standard available options include ball bearings, EMI/RFI filter networks and leadwire or terminal connection configurations.

Planetary gearheads can be specified to meet specific speed and torque requirements and optical encoders with several CPR ranges can be added for position, velocity, and direction feedback necessary for precision motion control applications.

Motors can further be customised to satisfy particular application performance needs.
