Stepper motors provide smooth performance

An Ametek Technical and Industrial Products product story

MAE HS series hybrid stepper motors are offered in three standard NEMA frame sizes (17, 23 and 34) with step resolutions of 1.8 (200 steps/rev) in full-step mode.

MAE HS series hybrid stepper motors provide high-performance solutions optimised for microstep operation.

Their superior torque characteristics and low ratios of detent torque to holding torque contribute fine positioning capability and promote smooth and quiet performance.

A rugged construction imparts higher reliability and longer service life.

MAE HS series hybrid stepper motors are offered in three standard NEMA frame sizes (17, 23 and 34) with step resolutions of 1.8 (200 steps/rev) in full-step mode.

Motor lengths range from 41 to 142mm and holding torques (bipolar) from 0.5 to 10Nm can be achieved, depending on the model.

All incorporate precision-honed stators and ground rotors for a tight air gap and improved performance, as well as high-temperature grade neodymium iron-bore magnets and single or double-ended shaft extensions.

Motor rotation can run clockwise or counterclockwise.

Four, six, or eight standard leads are provided, depending on model.
