Planetary reducer copes with dynamic applications

An Andantex product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Sep 15, 2005

A high-tech planetary reducer combines a rugged output bearing assembly based on two high capacity tapered roller bearings and a highly sophisticated planetary gear train.

New from Redex Andantex, SRP is a high-tech planetary reducer, including a rugged output bearing assembly based on two high capacity tapered roller bearings, and a highly sophisticated planetary gear train.

SRP is based on industry proven Redex Andantex differential gear train knowhow, and its unique qualities make it suitable for the most dynamic applications.

Superior axial and radial load capacity, maximum stiffness and very low transmission error are combined, with torsional backlash as low as 1arc-min.

The output flange design (complies with ISO9409) ensures extremely high stiffness for mounting any type of gear, large flange, or moving arm.

The input interface is available as an inline motor flange, or at right angle, by using an optional high quality spiral bevel gearbox.
