The latest digital controller from Merobel combines, in a smart and low profile front face enclosure, the most simple user interface with the most advanced technical features Designed for both closed loop and open loop tension control, the DGT300 is an up-to-date turnkey solution for unwinding, rewinding and intermediate tension control applications

Allowing 100% setting up through its user's friendly Windows PC interface, or through its front panel keyboard, the DGT300 includes all the requested web tension control specific functions: e-stop, soft start, hold and release, taper tension, no-stop splice turrets.

analogue set point input is also available for using distant remote control with PLC output or potentiometer.

Allowing direct input of position sensors, ultrasonic sensors, or any kind of load cell technology signals, the DGT300 design gives the benefit of fully digital calibration procedure as simple as 1-2-3 (no switch, strap or resistance).

Direct control of electromagnetic particle brakes and clutches is available through the built-in power amplifier and control of drives can be made with the +/-10V DC analogue output.

Programming and data records can easily be accessed from the front face RJ45 connector for downloading, uploading and real time troubleshooting on the advanced Windows PC software provided with the DGT300.

Additional features include rear panel or DIN rail mounting, five built-in complete memories, and advanced regulation such as automatic PID parameters variation function, closed loop and open loop mode and inertia compensation control.
