Axiomtek launches fanless embedded system, the EBox638-FL, to the Pentium M family of EBox products.

Axiomtek has launched a fanless embedded system, the EBox638-FL, to the Pentium M family of EBox products.

This full-function computer is suitable for industrial automation and AOI, DVR and media display devices.

Available in two configurations using either a low voltage Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz or ultra low voltage Intel Celeron M 600MHz processor, the embedded system has a mechanical design to improve thermal use.

It provides two PCI-X 64bit expansion slots.

For I/O there is a choice of three Com ports, four USB 2.0 ports, audio, LAN, 2.5in hard disk drive support and a 100W 24V DC-in power supply.

The watchdog timer function will automatically reset the unit and send the error message to specified users if required, which reduces the need for maintenance.

Graphics are powered by an Intel 855GME/852GM chipset with a maximum 64Mbyte graphic memory.

Operational temperature is from -10 to +50C.

The platform can be bundled with the company's embedded OS products (Microsoft Windows and embedded Linux based products).
