Industrial grade workstation with a 38cm TFT LCD supports full-size CPU cards and eight-slot PCI/ISA backplanes.

Axiontek has announced the ICS-415V industrial grade workstation with a 38cm TFT LCD The platform supports full-size CPU cards and eight-slot PCI/ISA backplanes

It provides a front-access design for CD-ROM, FDD, USB and PS2 to allow easier maintenance.

The fully-functional workstation meets the harsh environmental needs of many applications including measurement control, industrial machinery and oil pipe.

It combines reliable and flexible industrial-grade components.

The workstation can be installed without complicated formality and has passed through detailed computations in internal spatial dispositions.

The heavy-duty steel chassis and aluminium front bezel meet industrial IP65, Nema 4/12 standards.

A bracket for the power supply helps prevent the power cord from coming off as well as securing the fan filter.

It has VGA and RS232 interfaces for external displays and allows for various expansion configurations.

This easy-to-backup platform supports two 8.9cm HDDs, one 8.9cm FDD and a 13.3cm CD-ROM drive.

"The platform is designed for harsh environments, and has incredibly high performance when compared to traditional workstation platforms", said Alex Hsueh, Product Manager of Axiontek's industrial automation division.

"The front touchpad, 24 function keys and 60 membrane keypads allow users to maintain the system, upgrade software and tune the display into the best position for any environment".

To enhance the system for easy maintenance and upgrade, the USB port, CD-ROM, floppy disk drive, PS/2 keyboard and mouse port, and OSD have been built into the front panel.

The air filter is on the external side-cover which reduces system down time for air filter replacement.
