Panel PCs come in slimline format

Axiomtek has two new ultraslim 17in industrial panel computers, the Panel2170-831 and Panel2170-831-FL1.06G, which support a Socket M (478-pin) Intel Core2 Duo, Core Duo and Core Solo processors with FSB 533/667MHz and a superior ULV Intel Celeron M 423 processor (1.06GHz), respectively With fanless cooling system and industrial-grade mechanism (IP65 front panel, IPx1 whole enclosure), the panel computers are extremely high reliable, rugged and noiseless, especially designed for applications in POI/POS, kiosk, media content displays and HMIs

The Panel2170-831 and Panel2170-831-FL1.06G each support one PCI interface for expansion, a slim type CD-ROM drive (or slim combo drive), and internal antenna for wireless (802.11b/g) expansion.
Additionally, their excellent ID and friendly user interface make the panel computers not only have professional outlook but also have better user interface and protection.
Moreover, the panels support DualView and multiple I/O including four USB 2.0 ports, three COM ports, two 1394a ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and dual PS/2 interfaces.
As a value added service, Axiomtek provides various embedded operating systems including Windows CE.Net and Windows XP Embedded (XPE).
The RoHS compliant products will be available from the end of April 2008.
