Protected by a rugged 200 x 150 x 52.8mm aluminium housing, the eBOX647-FL can be used in space-limited and harsh environments.

Axiomtek has released the eBOX647-FL, a fanless and cost-effective embedded computer, which supports an onboard low power VIA C7 1.5 GHz processor with the VIA CX700 single-chip core logic controller.

The eBOX647-FL features a compact size, multiple I/O, an easy access mechanism and anti-vibration and thermal solutions.

These systems make it suitable for industrial automation, digital signage application (DSA), gaming and vehicle applications.

Protected by a rugged 200 x 150 x 52.8mm aluminium housing, the eBOX647-FL can be used in space-limited and harsh environments.

For convenient assembly, the fanless embedded box computer has an access door at the bottom for easy access its RAM and CompactFlash card.

The fanless design allows it to operate without noise in temperatures from 0 to 50C.

This durable embedded computer offers vibration resistance up to 2G RMS (with CompactFlash).

"The power-efficient VIA C7 CPU together with VIA CX700 chipset enables the eBOX647-FL to integrate rich functions into a compact package with a maximum power" said Eric Chiang, Product Manager of the Applied Computing Platforms Business Unit at Axiomtek.

"The eBOX647-FL is an application-ready platform targeted at industrial automation, transportation, gaming and DSA because of its low power consumption, easy access mechanism, fanless operation and vibration and shock resistance".

The eBOX647-FL is an all-in-one yet cost-effective embedded computer featuring rich I/O connections including two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, one fast Ethernet, VGA, one PS/2 connector, LPT and audio.

Additionally, the eBOX647-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded (XPE) and Linux.
