CE marked bare-bone rack-mount systems are designed as all-in cost-effective industrial computers that will enable users to get to end products to market quickly and easily.

Axiomtek has released three new ATX motherboard based rack-mount computer systems for industrial applications.

All three systems offer options of LGA775 Intel Core2 Duo, Pentium and Celeron processors with four DDR2 667/800MHz DIMM sockets for up to 8Gbyte of memory.

The 2U front access I/O IPC221, the cost-effective 4U IPC421 and the high-quality 4U IPC423 are all CE marked bare-bone systems designed as all-in cost-effective industrial computers that will enable users to get to end products to market quickly and easily.

The IPC221offers front-panel access to all the I/O interfaces from the ATX motherboard for ease access and maintenance.

A full set of I/O includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 ports, PS2 K/M, audio, COM port, VGA, and parallel port.

The IPC221 also offers one slim CD-ROM on the front and two internal 3.5in drive bays.

The chassis is designed for standard 19in rack mounting with a height of 2U and a depth of 450mm.

The cost-effective IPC421 features four PCI slots, two PCIe x1 slots and one PCIe x16 slot, offering system developers high bandwidth and rich expansion capabilities.

It has a lockable front door to protect the unit from unauthorised users.

The unit provides three 5.25in and one 3.5in drive bays in the front and an internal 3.5in drive bay.

Other I/O includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB 2.0 ports, PS2 K/M, audio, COM port, VGA, and parallel port.

The 4U height 19in rack-mount bare-bone system has a depth of 450mm.

Expandable for today and the future, the high quality IPC423 has four PCI slots, two PCIe x1 slots and one PCIe x16 slot.

This 4U rack-mount bare-bone system also provides great scalability with 3.5 and 5.25in drive bays.

Additionally, it features a lockable front door to protect the unit from unauthorised users.

Rich I/O includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, five USB 2.0 ports, PS2 keyboard/mouse, audio, one COM port, VGA, and one parallel port.

Moreover, the IPC423 is protected by a heavy-duty rugged steel housing.

"The IPC221, IPC421 and IPC423 are equipped with a new generation of Intel processors and feature rich I/O interface and expansibility", said David Huang, Product Manager of Axiomtek's Applied Computing Platforms Division.

"Packed with the most popular I/O interfaces, the industrial barebones can connect to diverse devices and equipment".

"We also offer a series of rack-mount peripheral products such as rack-mount keyboard, rack-mount LCD display, and industrial addon cards, to complete the solution".

"Available in certificates of entire system, these all-in-one bare-bone systems are ideal for applications required performance as well as cost-effective".

The IPC221, IPC421 and IPC423 all come with 300W ATX power supplies, and feature ball-bearing cooling fans to maintain positive air circulation through the whole chassis.
