Axiomtek has introduced PANEL1173-841, a 432mm industrial panel PC with two PCI expansion slots.

Powered by the Intel Q965+ICH8 Express chipset, the PANEL1173-841 supports an Intel Core2 Duo processor with up to 3GB of dual-channel DDR2 system memory.

It has an industrial-grade front bezel and a 432mm SXGA TFT LCD with resolution up to 1280 x 1024 pixels.

Applications include factory automation, water treatment and building automation.

The Intel Core2 Duo processor in the LGA775 package has an FSB of 533/667/800/1066 MHz.

Dual-core technology enables users to simultaneously run demanding applications.

Its plastic front bezel is NEMA 4/IP65-compliant and is light, durable, and has good heat dissipation and anti-corrosion properties for a wide range of heavy-duty industrial fields.

With its two PCI expansion slots, users can plug in standard half-size PCI cards for expansion and system integration, such as motion card and communication card.

It supports two SATA interfaces (51 x 89mm or 51 x 64mm HDD) for connection of mass-storage devices.

It also has a built-in speaker for kiosk application to display multimedia program content, and an optional WLAN module and antenna for wireless connectivity.

Other I/O features include a dual Gigabit Ethernet, three COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, DVI-I connector, line-out/mic-in, two Firewire (IEEE 1394a) and two PS/2 ports.

Mounting options include panel mount and rack mount.

It can run the latest software, including Windows Vista, 2000 and XP, and is RoHS-compliant.
