Amphenol Industrial Operations has introduced Amphe-GTR, the latest addition to its Amphe-Power Series of connectors featuring Radsok termination technology.

The new Amphe-GTR is a heavy duty reverse bayonet coupling connector, with UL94V0 composite shell components.

It is designed to provide a perfect fit for power to electronics applications in harsh (IP67) or benign environments.

Amphenol's proprietary Radsok connection technology is a key element in the design of Amphe-Power Series connectors.

The electrical terminal has a patented stamped hyperbolic grid that requires only a low insertion force to achieve a secure, reliable, high-amperage connection with a long life-cycle.

The reverse bayonet coupling Amphe-GTR connector is quick to mate and unmate via a quarter turn mechanism.

It is available in a four- or five-conductor format, with each conductor rated at 120A continuous.

These conductors are compression (setscrew) termination for either 6-10 or 16-25mm2 wire gauge and are an easy field replacement.

The new Amphe-GTR is an ideal connector for computer servers, industrial signs and lighting, factory automation and semiconductor fabrication equipment applications.
