Push-pull aluminium shell connectors are designed for signal and power interconnects in medical electromechanical instrumentation and process control applications.

Amphenol Industrial Operations, a manufacturer of high reliability connectors and interconnection systems for industrial markets, has introduced a new series of push-pull aluminium shell connectors developed for signal and power interconnects in medical electromechanical instrumentation and process control applications.

Amphe-PPM Series connectors allow quick mating and unmating and are available in a wide variety of configurations.

Nonsealed connectors are offered in 12 or 16mm housings with two to 12 contacts of 1.0 to 2.5mm in diameter.

The rear accessory can be either a rubber boot or cable clamp.

Sealed Amphe-PPM connectors are offered in 10, 12, 16 and 18mm housings.

They are available with two to 14 contacts of 0.8 to 2.5mm diameter.

The shells of both nonsealed and sealed Amphe-PPM connectors are offered with a nonreflective nickel finish; the nonsealed connectors are also available with a black epoxy finish and both types are produced in three styles: box mount receptacle, jam nut receptacle and straight plug.

Pin contacts are brass and socket contacts are copper alloy.

Amphe-PPM connectors are designed to IEC61984, with a flammability rating of UL94V0 and IP55 to IP67 sealing.

Operating temperature range is -40 to +100C.
