Solenoid valves handle liquids and gases
Supplied with either G 1/4 or G 3/8 ports, the Type 6240 has a 6mm orifice, delivering flow of 0.6m3/h at pressures up to 16bar.
Actuators cope with power failures
A small set of components convert the on-off actuator to a modulating unit using either 0-10V DC or 4-20mA control signals, with a feedback signal provided as standard.
Pipework in standard and specialist materials, formed in plate thicknesses from 3 to 200mm and lengths up to 10m can now be supplied.
Standard or special pipe diameters are produced to current ASTM, ASME and BS specifications, suitable for use in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries and other engineering operations where hollow tubular sections are used.
All welding is carried out to ASME IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes and BSEN 287/288 approved procedures, or to clients' own welding specifications.
Work can be carried out to comply with even tight delivery schedules, which overcomes the problem of any extended delivery which may be quoted by mainland European suppliers.
Equipment taken over from the former Bentham International company includes: three press brakes up to 1200t capacity with 10m bed; an edge planer for plates also up to 10m long; together with 10m SAF welding beams, equipped with plasma, TIG and submerged arc welding for the longitudinal seam closure of pipes.
The materials used for pipe manufacture include austenitic stainless steels, together with duplex, super-duplex and nickel alloys.
Carbon steels including low alloy and high strength carbon variations can also be accommodated, together with other ferrous and non-ferrous materials including aluminium, copper, brass, titanium and bronze.
All products are produced to close tolerances, with full QA support and documentation, with welding carried out to Lloyds approved welding procedures.
Ultrasonic wall thickness measurement, radiography of longitudinal and circumferential welds, surface crack detection and heat treatment services can be provided.
Cold rolling and induction bending of pipework can also be undertaken, including small or long radius and even including non-circular bends, with high accuracy and limited deformation in pipes up to 30m in length.
